The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ application is that the petitioners are the practising advocates and members of Bar Association of Midnapore. 2.

He submits that recently in the Bar, election was conducted and the petitioners found that in the voter list the name of the petitioners was not appearing and they have made representation to the President of the Bar Association but the same has not been considered. 3.

This matter was taken up for hearing on December 11, 2025 and this Court allowed the petitioners to cast their votes but the same be kept in the sealed cover. It is submitted that the Bar Association election is completed and result has also been declared. If the vote of the petitioners is counted, there will be no change in the result of the election.

Considering the above, though the respondents have raised the point of maintainability, this Court has not gone into the same. The only grievance of the petitioner at present is that the representation filed by the petitioner is pending before the President of the Bar Association.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the President, Bar Association Midnapore to consider the representation filed by the petitioners and to pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

WPA 28216 of 2025 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
