The petitioner claims that he complained to the police authorities pursuant to which Dubrajpur P.S. Case No. 122 of 2024 was registered for investigation.

However, the police authorities did not take any effective steps for recovery of the vehicle, which is in the possession

of the private respondent no.7.

State has submitted a report, which reflects that the police authorities have crosschecked from the finance company and, it has been contended in the report that neither the finance company nor the present petitioner has been able to trace out either the accused person(s) or the vehicle.

Learned advocate for the respondent no.7 contends that the vehicle is in the possession of the petitioner and the accusations which have been made in the FIR is only to harass the respondent no.7.

Be that as it may, the investigation of the case is in progress.

The investigating officer has made several attempts, but, neither the accused nor the vehicle could be traced.

In view of the aforesaid, I direct the investigating officer to exhaust harsher process of law for tracing out both the accused person(s) and the vehicle of the person concerned, since the report reflects that there has been non-cooperation by the respondent no.7.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 28629 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. Let a copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.
