Petitioner complains that he sent information to the Officer-in-Charge, Tiljala Police Station on or about 30th September, 2024, but no action has been taken on his information.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Tiljala Police Station Case No.566 of 2024 dated 29.11.2024 has been registered for investigation.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that he is an overseas citizen of India and

occasionally he comes to India. He prays for police protection.

I find that another case has been registered against the present petitioner. That being so, it would be the discretion of the police authorities if there is an apprehension to the life and liberty of the petitioner when he enters India to give protection or not. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 28635 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
