Petitioner has complained against some of the civic volunteers being respondent nos. 7 and 8 and one NVF being respondent no.9. The respondent no.6 is the Inspector-in-Charge, Mahananda Tola Police Out Post which is under Ratua Police Station. There are specific allegations of corruption particularly for extortion of money which has been made by the present petitioner.

In view of the aforesaid, the Superintendent of Police, Malda, respondent no.3 will consider the representation dated 21.11.2024 and communicate the outcome of the steps taken to the present petitioner, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of communication.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 28659 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
