The petitioner is aggrieved that the CID, West Bengal keeps asking him to appear in connection with the Bidhannagar North Police Station Case No.147/19 dated 6th October, 2019 without any rhyme or reason.

The petitioner is admittedly named as witness, who had helped the complainant to file a complaint. 3.

The investigating officer, Pinki Dhal, Lady SubInspector is present in Court. She submits that in course of investigation some vital documents in the custody of the petitioner are needed for the purpose of appropriate investigation.

The CID, West Bengal has contemplated filing of a supplementary charge sheet, if necessary.

In the above circumstances, this Court directs the petitioner to meet the aforesaid investigating officer at the Bhabani Bhaban at Kolkata on 20th April, 2023 at 2 pm.

The list of documents required from the petitioner shall be communicated by email to Mr. Arijit Bank, learned counsel for the petitioner on his email id i.e. arijitbanik.advocate@gmail.com 7.

The petitioner shall produce the said documents before the investigating officer.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

9.

There shall be no order as to costs.

10. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
