Mr. Chakraborty, learned Additional Solicitor General appearing for the alleged contemnors submits that the order passed by this Court on 12th September, 2023 in WPCT 57 of 2023 has already been complied with and upon condoning the shortfall of service period of the petitioner up to the extent of minimum qualifying service for the purpose of granting pension, all consequential benefits have been disbursed including current pension. Let the documents, as submitted, be kept on record. He further submits that the delay which has occurred towards compliance of the Hon'ble Court's order is neither deliberate nor intentional.

The fact that the consequential benefits including current pension have been disbursed in favour of the

petitioner, has not been disputed by Mr. Mandal, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

In view thereof, we are not inclined to proceed with the contempt application any further.

Accordingly, the contempt application and the connected applications are disposed of.

The appearance of the alleged contemnors through online mode, as directed in the earlier order dated 11th March, 2024, is also dispensed with.
