Photographs have been produced by the learned advocate representing Panihati Municipality in support of the submission that demolition of the unauthorised construction has been made.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits, upon instruction that, part demolition has been made but the entire unauthorised construction is yet to be demolished.

From the photographs handed over today in Court it appears that, substantial demolition took place but the outer walls of the unauthorised construction still remains.

The municipality is directed to take steps to demolish the outer walls of the unauthorised construction and remove the debris at the earliest. The contempt application stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
