Affidavit of compliance filed by the Secretary of the West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education in Court today is taken on record.

It appears from the submission made by the petitioner appearing in person and by the learned advocate appearing for the West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education that the Sub-Inspector of School, Nandigram, South Circle who has been reappointed as administrator of the Madrasah is unable to conduct the election of the Managing Committee.

In the absence of a Managing Committee, the functioning of the Madrasah is at stake. Several illegalities are being perpetrated in the concerned Madrasah. For the purpose of smooth running of the Madrasah, the Secretary of the West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education is directed to remove the present administrator and appoint fresh administrator for the

purpose of constitution of the Managing Committee by holding fresh election in accordance with law. The new incumbent to be appointed as administrator shall take steps strictly in accordance with the direction passed by the Court on 4th February, 2022.

Be it recorded that the tenure of the Managing Committee expired way back on 30th May, 2018, and since thereafter, the election of the Managing Committee has not yet been held.

The election of the Managing Committee shall positively be conducted and concluded by 30th April, 2024.

The contempt application stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
