Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, other co-accused were enlarged on bail by the jurisdictional Court. Police filed charge-sheet. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is unable to produce the order granting bail by the jurisdictional Court of the co-accused.

Petitioner is involved in a racket by which, members of the public were made to part with money. Amount was deposited in the bank account of the petitioner. The amount involved is in excess of Rs.42 Lakhs.

In such circumstances, considering the gravity of the offence and involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM(DB) 4598 of 2023 is disposed of.
