Petitioner is aggrieved by the factum of pendency of Case No. MISNS/16/2021 before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 14th Court, Calcutta which is a proceeding under Section 12 of the P.W.D.V Act. Learned advocate submits that till date the interim prayers have not been considered by the learned Magistrate and the same is because all the opposite parties one after other are individually filing applications to stretch the proceedings in such a manner that the interim prayers cannot be considered. In view of such submissions so advanced, I direct the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 14th court, Calcutta to first dispose of the interim prayers on 04-012024, the next date so fixed for the purposes of the present case.

If on that particular date, if it is not possible to complete the hearing of the interim prayers so advanced by the petitioner, the learned Magistrate on or before 15th February, 2024 will dispose of the interim prayers. Learned Magistrate will not stretch the timeline as directed by this court at least for the purposes of interim reliefs so prayed for by the petitioner. Thereafter, the learned trial court would fix dates at regular intervals so that every two months a date is fixed for the trial of the case and the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 4679 of 2023 is disposed of.
