Mr. Robiul Islam Mr. Masooq Rahaman ......For the Petitioner Mr. Sounak Bhattacharya .....For the State It is the grievance of the petitioner that he executed a work order for "installation of a submersible pump with pipeline near the ICDS Centre at Balia Village (Hat Tala) under the Murarai-I Panchayat Samity, funded under the 3rd SFC (2014-15)."

The petitioner, however, alleges that despite successful execution of the work order, no payment has been made to him. By filing the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks payment of the value of the work order amounting to ₹1,71,569/-.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the bills raised by the petitioner were duly vetted by the concerned authority.

There is no justification to keep this writ petition pending. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Executive and Block Development Officer, Murarai-I Block, being respondent no. 5, to consider the representation of the petitioner appearing at page 16 of the writ petition in accordance with law, preferably within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order.

If the petitioner is found eligible for the payment as prayed for, the same shall be disbursed in accordance with law.

Accordingly, WPA 28394 of 2025 stands disposed of.
