Sandip Das v. State Of West Bengal And ORS.
Court No. 17 WPA 28461 of 2022 Sandip Das Vs.
The State of West Bengal & Ors.
07.08.2023 (A 19) (S. Banerjee) Mr. Sabyasachi Mukhopadhyay Ms. Koushikee Banerjee ... for the petitioner Mr. Avishek Prasad ... for the State The letter written by the Burdwan District Primary School Council to the effect that excess salary was for the period from 13.02.2006 to 20.12.2019, does not generate any confidence in view of the document annexed to the writ application, which is at 34 of the writ application wherefrom it appears that the petitioner's wife Shrabani Das completed one-year bridge course in the year 2012-13.
I direct the Director of Pension Provident Fund and Group Insurance ('DPPG', for short) to hold a meeting with the petitioner and the Chairman of the DPSC within a period of four weeks from date to take a decision in this regard as the court is not attaching any importance to this letter of the Burdwan DPSC dated 13.04.2023. After hearing a reasoned order is to be passed by the DPPG within a period of two weeks after the date of hearing and is to be served upon the petitioner.
With the above observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
The report filed by the DI of schools is kept on record.
