No. 29 KAUSHIK REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 5986 of 2022 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Rampurhat Police Station Case No. 314 of 2022 dated 10.06.2022 under Sections 419/420/423/467/468/472 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

And In Re : Daktar Saren ...... petitioner Ms. Zareen N. Khan Md. Kutubuddin ....for the State None appears for the petitioner even in the second call. There are materials in the case diary implicating the petitioner in the offences alleged.

At this stage, we are not in a position to arrive at a finding that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 5986 of 2022 is dismissed.
