Heard the learned advocates for both the parties. 2.
We have considered the materials on record. Though attack on a member of the legal profession is highly reprehensible, the nature of injury does not appear to be grievous.

The petitioner is in custody for 30 days.

Further detention is not necessary and he may be enlarged on bail.

Hence, we enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing a personal bond of Rs. 10,000/- to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Berhampore, Murshidabad on condition that the petitioner shall appear before the trial court on every date of hearing and shall not intimidate witnesses or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever.

In the event he fails to appear before the trial court without justifiable cause, the trial court shall be at liberty to cancel his bail automatically without reference to this court.
