The School Service Commission has received the petitioner's application for transfer. There is a candidate with more marks than the petitioner who has opted for the school chosen by the petitioner. 2.

In the above circumstances, let the petitioner sit with the Chairman of the School Service Commission on 02.01.2024 at 2.00 p.m. to ascertain any other nearby alternative school to accommodate the petitioner.

Upon identification of any such school, appropriate orders may be issued by the Commission and forwarded to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education for issuance of appropriate orders. The entire process shall be carried out offline.

The contempt application being CPAN 1636 of 2023 is disposed of.

5.

Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.

6.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
