Charge-sheet has been filed.

Further investigation is contemplated but supplementary charge-sheet has not yet been submitted.

Four co-accused were granted bail by this court/court below. In those circumstances, we allow this application for bail.

We direct that the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties each of like amount, on of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned 3rd Additional

District Judge, Alipore, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall appear before the trial court on every date of hearing until further orders and shall not intimidate the witnesses and/or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever.

In the event the petitioner fails to appear before the trial court it shall be at liberty to cancel his bail in accordance with law without further reference of this court.

He will not leave the limits of district Hooghly without informing the Investigating Officer.

He will also deposit his passport, if any, with such Officer within seven days.

The application for bail (CRM (DB) 4543 of 2022) is, accordingly, disposed of.
