Learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits petitioner is in custody since 8th June, 2025. Charges have been framed and one witness has been examined. Another accused, similarly placed, has been granted bail. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention of the Court to the statement of witnesses.

I have considered the materials in the case diary. The case is based on circumstantial evidence. Another accused is almost on a same footing with that of the present petitioner.

Having considered the grounds on which the other accused has been granted bail in CRM (M) 369 of 2026, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail on same terms and conditions as was imposed upon Abu Sufiyan in CRM (M) 369 of 2026.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 2710 of 2025 is allowed. Mr. Somnath Adhikary, learned advocate was directed to represent the State. His appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
