Learned advocate also submits that the petitioner is in custody for one year twenty five days and there is no possibility of the trial concluding in the near future, as such, on any stringent condition, the petitioner may be enlarged on bail.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Prima facie, I find that Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted, as such, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

However, the petitioner would renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the seizure list witnesses are over Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 1635 of 2025 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
