The petitioners allege inaction on the part of the Officer in Charge, Bhatar Police Station in taking step in response to the complaint lodged in August, 2023. Learned advocate representing the State respondents produces the report filed by the Officer in Charge, Bhatar Police Station signed on 12th December, 2023 wherefrom it appears that the complaint filed by the petitioners was diarized vide Bhatar PS GDE No. 1152 dated 19th August, 2023. An enquiry was conducted and a prosecution against the private respondents under Sections 107/116(3) Cr.P.C. vide Bhatar PS NCR No. 484/2023 dated 23rd August, 2023 has been filed.

It appears from the submission made on behalf of the petitioners and the State respondents that there is a longstanding civil dispute in between the parties. There are several complaints and counter-complaints made by each other.

The police is directed to ensure that there is no breach of peace at the locale. The parties will be entitled to approach the appropriate forum for necessary relief. The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
