Copy of the same is handed over to the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. Learned Senior Counsel representing the petitioner submits that the petitioner's uncle had gone missing about 50 years ago. The petitioner approached the police authorities to make an enquiry about the same, but the same was not entertained.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report and submits that pursuant to a complaint made by the petitioner an enquiry has been done. Several communications were made during such enquiry and the petitioner was informed about the progress. However, it is also a fact that the petitioner was even unable to produce any photograph of her uncle or other family members.

In such circumstance, it is indeed very difficult to get a positive result in any such enquiry.

It appears that the petitioner has complained about going missing of her uncle a little too late, after about 50 years from the incident.

The police have done their best in trying to enquire into the matter. If any information can be obtained by the police, the same would be made available to the petitioner. Therefore, no further order need be passed in this regard.

With these observations, WPA 27362 of 2023 is disposed of.
