The petitioner prays for a direction upon the Principal, Barasat College to release an amount Rs.31,53,513/- to the petitioner, for the work allegedly completed by the petitioner pursuant to a notice inviting tender. The work order was issued by the college authority.

This court is not inclined to adjudicate the merits of the claim of the petitioner. However, as the petitioner submits that the work was completed, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent nos. 3 and 4 to treat the writ petition as a representation and dispose of the same in accordance with law, upon hearing the petitioner. reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner within a period of four months from the date of communication of this order.

This court has not gone into the merits of the claims.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of server copy of this order.
