Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected on 17th May, 2023. It is contended that there is no progress in the matter since then. Hence, he renews his prayer for bail. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected on 17th May, 2023. Thereafter charge has been framed and date has been fixed for fixing schedule for recording evidence.

In view of the aforesaid fact, it cannot be said that there is no progress in the matter since rejection of bail by this Court. Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

We request the trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
