Chandranath Ghosh & ORS v. State Of West Bengal & ANR
07.7.2025 Sl. 10 Samarpita Court No.550
IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA
Criminal Revisional Jurisdiction Appellate Side CRR 3829 of 2015 In the Matter of: Chandranath Ghosh & Ors.
.... Petitioners 1.
Administrative notice was served upon the petitioner no(s). 2 and 3. 2.
However, from the report it is transpired that the petitioner no.1 Chandranath Ghosh has expired in the meantime. 3.
However, none appears to move the instant revisional application. 4.
From the record it is transpired that the instant revisional application was filed praying for quashing of the criminal proceeding being Bagnan P.S.Case no. 367 of 2015 dated 29.9.2015 and also for issuing interim order.
5.
It appears from the record that the relevant criminal proceeding was started with the allegation that the present petitioners along with the deceased petitioner no. 1 attacked the Government Officers when a raid was being conducted by them.
6.
However, it appears that the instant revisional application has no merits since the petitioners are not at all willing to proceed with the instant revisional application since it's filing in the year, 2015. 7.
I do not find any merits in the instant revisional application. 8.
Accordingly, CRR 3829 of 2015 is hereby dismissed. 9.
No order as to costs.
10. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
11. Urgent certified photo copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities. (Apurba Sinha Ray, J.)
