The District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Hooghly, the respondent no. 3 herein, by the order impugned dated November 06, 2023 has rejected the prayer of the petitioner for compassionate appointment on the ground that the family income of the deceased teacher is more than the gross salary of a Group - D staff of the State Government.

In view of such finding, this Court does not find any illegality in the order impugned warranting interference.

W.P.A. 27378 of 2023 is therefore dismissed without any order as to costs.
