Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent of the charges and is in custody for four months, as such he may be released on bail on any stringent conditions. Learned advocate for the State drawn the attention of the Court to the statement under Section 183 of BNSS.

I have taken into account the facts of the case and I am of the view that at this stage this is not a fit case for releasing the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 2714 of 2025 is dismissed. Petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court and renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the victim is recorded.

Learned Special Court is directed to complete the evidence of the victim at the earliest preferably within one and half months from the next date so fixed by the learned trial Court. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
