It has been submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State that upon completion of the investigation, the Investigating Officer submitted the Final Report as "mistake of fact" on November 4, 2023. In that view of the matter, the alleged inaction of the police as canvassed in this writ petition does not merit any attention.

Accordingly, WPA 27383 of 2023 is disposed of. The petitioner shall be at liberty to take steps in accordance with law.
