The order dated 23rd November, 2023 passed by the Assistant Engineer in-charge, Building Department, Howrah Municipal Corporation is placed before this Court It appears therefrom that the premises was inspected in the presence of the parties and unauthorised construction has been detected. The person responsible has been directed to remove the persons from the occupied area and cause selfdemolition of the unauthorised constructions and the deviated portions.

Though affidavit-in-compliance has not been filed but on a perusal of the order passed by the Assistant Engineer in-charge, it appears that the order passed by this Court has been complied with.

In view of the above, there is no requirement of proceeding with the contempt application any further.

Contempt application stands disposed of.

The order dated 23rd November, 2023 be retained with the records.
