The innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of G.R.Case 242 of 2010 arising out of Bidhannagar South Police Station Case No. 57 of 2010 dated April 23, 2010 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar. Similar application was filed by the petitioner before this Court earlier and by an order passed on February 07, 2022 in CRR Case No.

2028 of 2021, a coordinate Bench of this Court directed the trial court to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties preferably within one year from the next date of hearing. Unfortunately despite such order, the trial is still continuing and the 2nd charge sheet witness is being examined at present.

Since the matter is pending since 2010, the revisional application is disposed of directing the learned trial court to conclude the trial within one year from the next date of hearing

fixed before the court peremptorily, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
