The matter has appeared in the list under the heading 'To Be Mentioned' for correction of a typographical error that has inadvertently crept up in the order dated 10th May, 2023.

In the last line of the third paragraph in page 2 of the order dated 10th May, 2023, the correct sentence will be read as "The Treasury Officer shall not be obliged to pay interest if the delay was caused on account of any lapse on the part of the employee". The remaining part of the said order will remain unaltered.

The department is directed to carry out the necessary correction at once.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
