Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that they have informed the Officer-in-Charge, Chandipur Police Station seeking protection on the ground that the defendant no. 1 has married against the will of the parents and there is a previous history of a criminal case being registered at the instance of the father.

Petitioner presently is major as she claims and she has already informed the Officer-in-Charge, Chandipur Police Station.

In view of the petitioners apprehending that they may be harassed, heckled because of their marriage, I direct the Officer-in-Charge, Chandipur Police Station to consider the representation made by

the defendant No. 1, Priya Pal in accordance with law and if situation so arise extent cooperation and protection.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 28729 of 2024 is disposed of.

Learned advocate for the state is directed to communicate this order to the Officer-in-Charge, Chandipur Police Station.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
