Mr. Angshuman Chakraborty, learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been acquitted of the charges levelled against them under Sections 498A/406/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act by virtue of a judgment and order dated 04.02.2026 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court, Bankura. He further submits that the instant revisional application has been filed for quashing of the proceeding being G.R. Case No. 1631 of 2022 arising out of Gangajal Ghati Police Station Case No. 176 of 2022 dated 01.12.2022 under Sections 498A/406/307/506 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

However, in view of the judgment and order of acquittal dated 04.02.2026, the instant revisional application has become infructuous. 3.

Accordingly, CRR 5098 of 2024 is disposed of as infructuous. 4.

Copy of the judgment and order dated 04.02.2026 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court, Bankura is taken on record. 5.
