1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept on record.

2. The matter pertains to admitted dues of the petitioners. The petitioners performed works for the Hooghly River Bridge Commissioner.

Although their dues are admitted, the same has not yet been paid as yet to the petitioners.

3. Since the nature of the prayer is innocuous, upon hearing all parties, WPA No. 27416 of is disposed of by directing the

respondent no. 1 to ensure that the funds necessary to pay the dues of the petitioners are disbursed in favour of respondent nos. 2 and 3 as expeditiously as possible, positively within eight weeks from date.

4. Immediately upon receipt of the said amount, the Hooghly River Bridge Commissioner shall pay the same to the petitioners, preferably within a fortnight thereafter.

5. There will be no order as to costs.

6. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities. (Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya, J.)
