The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of the information being furnished to the police authorities, no steps have been taken by them and, further, the manner in which the property has been mis-utilized by his son and mortgaged with a bank for which the bank authorities are taking steps.

So far as the accusations against the police authorities are concerned, a

report has been submitted by the State, which reflects that in connection with Sankrail P.S. Case No. 867 of 2024 dated 10.11.2024, charge-sheet has been submitted on or about 23.11.2024 against Gopal Patra and Moumita Patra, as such, the police authorities have taken steps pursuant to the information so furnished before them.

So far as the issue relating to action taken by the bank authorities are concerned, the petitioner will approach the Tribunal, which, ordinarily, deals with the SARFAESI Act.

In the meantime, this court directs that the petitioner, being a senior citizen, should not be subject to any harassment at the behest of the respondent no.6.

In case, any complaint is received that the respondent no.6 and/or his associates are inflicting torture upon the

senior citizen being the petitioner, the police authorities would take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 28744 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. Let a copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.
