1. This revisional application has been filed assailing the order dated 19.09.2024 passed in connection with T.R.

(409) 01/2015 wherein Learned Judge, Special Court, Tamluk refused to entertain an application on behalf of the accused for authorizing him to conduct his own case.

2. From the impugned order, it appears that accused filed an application with a prayer for defending his case personally though he had already engaged one counsel to conduct his case before the Trial Court.

3. In this facts and circumstances, I do not find any irregularity in the order impugned to exercise the jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

4. However, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has prayed for liberty to file proper application after discharging the learned counsel who was appearing on behalf of the accused.

5. Liberty is granted.

6. With the aforesaid observation, the revisional application stands disposed of.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.

8. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Bibhas Ranjan De, J.)
