Today, learned Advocate for the State says that the issue in connection with which the present contempt application was filed, has been settled between the parties. The petitioners in the contempt application have agreed to the State paying compensation to the petitioners on the basis of the direct purchase policy. Let the entire exercise be completed within three months from date.

In view of the aforesaid, we close the contempt proceedings.

Consequently, CAN 3 of 2024 being an application for modification of the parent order also stands disposed of. CPAN 1862 of 2024 is, accordingly, disposed of.
