Dhar ... ... for the State In this public interest petition the petitioner has raised the cause of poor cultivators of Mayna Block of District - Purba Medinipur whose grievance is that some influential persons of that area are converting the agricultural land into fisheries by destroying the fertility of the land and are creating pressure on the villagers to hand over their fertile agricultural land.

It has been pointed out that the representation dated 2nd December, 2022 made by the petitioner to the respondent no.5, District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur does not contain sufficient particulars.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to file a fresh detailed representation to the respondent no.5.

Learned counsel for the State has submitted that the respondent no.6 is the appropriate authority who can look into the entire issue.

Hence, we dispose of the present petition permitting the petitioner to file a detailed, comprehensive representation before the respondent no.6 who on receipt of the same will get an enquiry conducted and will take

appropriate action in accordance with law after giving opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties. Let this exercise be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the representation along with copy of this order. Petition is accordingly disposed of.
