Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of GR 1815 of 2019 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Barrackpore, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite parties. The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. This Court is informed that charges were framed on 10th June, 2022. Witness action is yet to commence.

In view of the above, the learned trial Court is directed to take the proceeding to its logical conclusion within one year from the next date of hearing fixed before him, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law. CRR 5107 of 2024 is disposed of.
