Perused the report of the Municipal Commissioner, Kolkata Municipal Corporation signed on February 12, 2026 wherefrom it appears that a reasoned order has been passed by the Special Officer (Building), KMC on January 13, 2026. Copy of the said order has been handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioners in Court today.

Though the Court is not satisfied with the reason specified for delay in complying with the order passed by the Court, but as it appears that, though delayed, the order has been complied with, the Court is not inclined to proceed with the contempt application any further.

The contempt application is disposed of.

It will be open for the petitioners to challenge the reasoned order passed by the Corporation in accordance with law, if aggrieved by the same. 5.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
