Petitioner is in custody for 170 days. Co-accuseds are on bail. He prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner was identified in the course of T. I. Parade. He does not stand on the same footing with co-accuseds who are on bail. Under such circumstances and in view of gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
