Petitioners were involved in an incident of assault on police personnel who went to arrest persons.

Police personnel suffered injuries in discharge of their official duties at the behest of the petitioners. Enlarging any of the petitioners on anticipatory bail will send a wrong signal to the society.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 5473 of 2023 is dismissed.
