The petitioner retired from service on January 31, 2026. She alleges that her service book has deliberately not been made ready by the school management. The petitioner cannot enjoy her terminal dues.

The petitioner alleges that the present headmistress of the school is making amendment in the service book of the petitioner by disregarding the earlier recordings of the erstwhile headmistress.

Learned counsel for the school submits that there is issue with regard to the regularization of the leave of the petitioner, and that regular communications were made by and between the school and the petitioner. It has further been submitted that the school does not have any intention to hold back the petitioner's service book.

Be that as it may, as it appears that the petitioner has retired on January 31, 2026, the school

ought to take steps to ensure that she receives her terminal dues without any further delay.

The school is, therefore, directed to immediately complete and forward the service book of the petitioner to the DI of Schools (SE), Kolkata for processing the pension file of the petitioner. 6.

The petitioner and the school are directed to cooperate with the DI of Schools for making the pension file ready.

The respondents shall ensure that the file is forwarded to the Director of Pension, Provident Fund & Group Insurance, West Bengal for issuance of the PPO upon compliance of all necessary formalities. The amount mentioned in the PPO shall be disbursed in favour of the petitioner positively by June 30, 2026.

Leave is granted to the learned advocate-onrecord of the school to file the vakalatnama in the department in course of this day.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
