Dipankar Ghosh And ANR v. State Of West Bengal And ORS.
D/L 30 10.04.2025 Bpg.
ct.no.35 W.P.A.28771 of 2024 Dipankar Ghosh & Anr.
Versus
The State of West Bengal & Ors.
Mr. Sudip Das Mr. Aritra Kumar Thokdar.
...for the petitioners.
Mr. Wasim Ahmed Md. Sehabuddin.
...for the State-respondents.
Supplementary affidavit filed by the petitioners be kept with the record.
Petitioners submit that during the pendency of the writ petition an information was furnished with the police authorities and the police authorities have taken steps for which presently the private respondents are not disturbing or interfering with the property of the petitioners.
Mr. Ahmed, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State submits that proceedings have been drawn up under Section 126 of the BNSS and a strict vigil has been kept at the locale so that no untoward incident takes place.
Be that as it may, as the petitioners are presently satisfied for non-interference at the behest of the private respondents, I am of the view that
further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. In case further inconveniences are faced by the petitioners, petitioners would inform the police authorities who would act in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 28771 of 2024 is disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
