The petitioner seeks an order upon the respondent authorities for releasing balance payment for the work of construction made by the petitioner. It has been submitted that partial payment has been made but some amount is still due and payable. 2.

Upon hearing the submission made on behalf of the parties and on perusal of the materials available on record, it appears that part payment had been made to the petitioner.

Though the petitioner submits that representation was filed seeking release of balance payment but there is no proof of service of the said representation upon the authority.

In view of the above, leave is granted to the petitioner to raise a comprehensive representation before the competent authority giving details of the dues receivable by the petitioner.

In the event such representation is made, the same shall be considered by the competent authority in accordance with law at the earliest. 6.

If any amount is found due and payable, the same shall be released in favour of the petitioner without unnecessary delay.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
