For the Petitioner Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of Sessions Serial Case no. 12 of 2022 pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 3rd Fast Track Court, Berhampore, Mureshidabad, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. This Court is informed that the case was committed to the learned trial Court on 17th December, 2021 and charge has been framed on 5th August, 2024. Witness action is yet to commence. In view of the above, the learned trial Court is directed to take the proceeding to its logical conclusion within two years from the next date of hearing fixed before him, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
