1. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that he should be granted interim bail to attend the marriage of his sister. He further submits that as there is no other competent person to organize the marriage ceremony of his sister, he may be granted interim bail for a day only.

2. Learned advocate for the defacto complainant has raised strong objection to such prayer. According to him, one of the accused persons, who was granted bail, absconded Signed By :

from the clutches of law and, accordingly, he opposes the prayer for bail.

3. Learned counsel for the State has also raised vehement objection. He submits that once the present petitioner was granted bail, but subsequently, he absconded and, thereafter, he was again taken into custody. In such view of the matter, learned counsel for the State raises vehement objection to the prayer for bail.

4. We have considered the rival submissions of the parties. In view of the antecedents of the present petitioner as also the material on record, we are not inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner for bail.

5. The application for bail is, thus, dismissed.

6. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

7. Criminal Section is directed to supply certified copies of this order to the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
