1. This Court appreciates the proactive steps taken by Ms. Sutapa Sanyal, Counsel for the State, in requesting Amherst Street Police Station to inspect and get the Dog medically examined.

2. The medical examiner has found that the Dog is healthy and hearty.

3. This Court also records appreciation of Amherst Street Police Station for proactive steps taken in this regard.

4. The report of the Amherst Street Police Station dated 26th April, 2023 in the form of instructions addressed to the State Advocate filed in Court today be taken on record.

5. In view of the aforesaid, nothing further remains to be decided in the instant writ petition and the same shall stand disposed of.

6. There will be no order as to costs.

7. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
