Ms. Ipsita Banerjee, learned advocate for the State submits that the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), Purba Medinipur, the respondent no. 4 herein by his letter dated January 06, 2025 has communicated to the petitioner the amount which is required to be deposited to get the benefit of pension; she files a copy of the said report, let it be kept with the record.

It appears from the said communication that the petitioner is required to deposit a sum of Rs. 4,46,237/- in the relevant Government Account.

Ms. Sreyasree Choudhury, learned advocate for the petitioner prays four weeks time to deposit the said amount in the relevant Government Account.

Time as prayed for is granted.

Upon deposit of the said amount, the respondent no. 4 shall prepare the pension papers of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a period of four weeks, thereafter shall send the same to the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, Government of West Bengal, the respondent no. 3 herein and the said respondent within four weeks from the date of receipt of

the pension papers shall take forward steps for issuance of Pension Payment Order in accordance with law. WPA 28831 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
