The petitioner prays for a direction upon the respondent authority to demolish the unauthorized construction standing at 2H, Radha Gobinda Saha Lane, Ward No. 64, Borough-VII under the jurisdiction of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

It appears that the demolition proceeding is under way and the Special Officer (Building), Kolkata Municipal Corporation is in seisin over the matter.

In view of the above, there is no requirement of passing any order in the instant writ petition. The concerned officer shall take steps to deal with any unauthorized construction at the subject premises in accordance with law after giving reasonable opportunity

of hearing to all the necessary parties. Effort shall be taken to conclude the proceeding at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Notice of hearing shall also be served upon Reshma Ismat who has been added as party respondent in the instant writ petition and who claims to be one of the co-owners of the subject property.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
