Affidavit-of-service so filed be kept with the record. Petitioner is aged about 66 years and she complains against her daughter and son-in-law for the harassment being inflicted upon her, to that effect she has lodged several complaints with the Dhaniakhali Police Station. Learned Advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that the petitioner on several occasions has complained to the police authorities and withdrawn the same. In fact, the petitioner specifically stated that she do not intend to register any case, so far as the private respondents are concerned.

Petitioner is an aged lady may be for family peace she is not willing to pursue any criminal case to be registered against her daughter and son-in-law. However, if situation so demands and she complains, considering her age police authorities will not deter to initiate a case if any fresh complaint is lodged at any stage.

With the aforesaid observations, writ petition being WPA 28832 of 2024 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Report along with the compact disc. so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report along with the compact disc. be handed over to the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner.
