Safiur Rahaman ...for the Petitioner Ms. Tuli Sinha ...for the State The petitioner has raised the grievance that, 04-03-2025 AKG Ct. 15 despite having applied for the mutation of the relevant assessment records concerning plot no. 125, Block No. BC, Sector-I, Salt Lake, Kolkata - 700 064, under the Bidhannagar Municipality, no decision has been made by respondent no. 2 to date.

The petitioner asserts that he has submitted all the requisite documents, including a certified copy of the relevant will and the probate, to the concerned authority. In light of the above facts, there appears to be no justification for keeping this writ petition pending. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Land Manager, Bidhannagar, Department of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs of the State (respondent no. 2), to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated September 25, 2019, in accordance with the law, within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.

Accordingly, WPA 27514 of 2023 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
